Register for StateAlert
What is StateAlert?
StateAlert is a State Government initiative, developed by FESA and WA Police as part of its ongoing commitment to effective emergency management.
StateAlert is a free service that automatically delivers emergency warnings direct to you when lives may be in danger in your neighbourhood. It does not replace current public information tools or the need to look after your own safety. It is an additional tool used to alert people in a specific location where there is immediate danger.
Do you need to register?
All home phones (landlines), including silent numbers, are automatically registered. Mobile phones are automatically registered to the billing address which may be different to where you live. If you're not sure what address your mobile phone is registered to you should register.
You also need to register if you want to receive alerts by email or for up to three additional addresses. You may want to register multiple addresses if you own more than one property, work away from home or have a friend or relative with special needs.
How do you register?
Please vist www.statealert.wa.gov.au for full details regarding the service and how to register.
(Please note that this service is not managed by the City of Perth and that the information above has been published on behalf of the State Government of Western Australia in the interests of public safety. Any related enquiries should be made using the contact details provided on the official StateAlert website)
