Sustainable Business Leaders
Supporting the longevity of City of Perth Business
The Sustainable Business Leaders program is a partnership and rebate program for small to medium enterprise (SME’s) with up to 200 employees.
It is a holistic sustainability program to help achieve measureable environmental, social and economic outcomes.
The Sustainable Business Leader Program is all about helping you to be a business leader, now and well into the future by:
· being smarter with the resources you already have
· achieving 'more with less'
· reducing greenhouse gas emissions
· reducing water use and waste
· considering community needs
· encouraging strong business ethics
· supporting your local economy
The program helps you to identify and implement ways to improve your business's daily operations and can save money, protect the environment and increase business longevity, productivity and competitiveness.
Expressions of interest are to be sought from Northbridge Business in November 2011, with pilot two commencing in February 2011.
If accepted into the program, the City will arrange for an Industry Expert to complete a sustainable business health check and mentor you in the preparation of a Sustainability Action Plan (worth up to $2,000).
Grants of up to $1,000 are available to reward your implementation of sustainability initiatives. Up to an additional $4,000 of grant funding is also available through other City of Perth programs such the Switch Your Thinking Program, Business Grants and Matching Funding.
